The English Department is holding its 15th annual Lawrence Owen Prizes in Creative Writing Contest. Winners receive recognition at Honors Day and $125. That’s right people, money! There is one winner for each of the three categories: 1) Fiction, 2) Non-Fiction, and 3) Poetry. You can submit for any or all of the categories.
Submissions are due on Friday, March 1st in the Confer-Vickner office (Confer 231) by 4:00 pm. For more information, pick up an information sheet from Confer 231. Make sure to follow the instructions for general submissions and for the individual categories. Good luck, folks!
